For all of my real Neo-Soul lovers out there, Maxwell is back with his long anticipated 4th studio album, “BLACKsummers’ night”. Maxwell recorded this album with an A-list cast of musicians, live, so no Autotune, no computerized Fruity Loops/Protools beats, this here is the real deal. This album is set to the theme of heartbreak, but heartache never sounded so good!

Check Maxwell’s Fresh Factor as you read “BLACKsummer’snight” Track List:

  1. Bad Habits…….B
  2. Cold…….B
  3. Pretty Wings…….A
  4. Help Somebody…….B
  5. Stop The World…….A
  6. Love You……..B+
  7. Fistful of Tears…….A
  8. Playing Possum……..A
  9. Phoenix Rise……..A

He keeps this album short, but o so sweet, since this is the first volume in the “BLACKsummers Night” trilogy.

I know this is late, but I listened beginning to end and then started it over again… love every song.
