That’s right; I’m done with you Black people. No longer will I consider myself a Negro, a Black man, African American or whatever other forms of description which implies my ethnic makeup. Damn right, from here on out I wanna be an Albino. Yup, the death of Michael Jackson was all it took for me to see the light.
I mean obviously I’m not Black enough like the Black people who are quick to say that MJ turned his back on the Black community. Or, he had an identity crisis and wanted to be White. Or, that he wanted to be White so bad that he went as far as to buy the sperm out of a White man’s balls and have them planted inside a White woman to produce his offspring like Debbie Roe did.
SIDENOTE: Show me a Black woman who would have been comfortable with the arrangement to carry Mike’s kids and take the money in exchange for the potential future custody of said kids.
Yeah, this man has been dead exactly one week and now that the initial shock has worn off you Negroes are coming out of the woodwork with this type of talk. Yeah, Michael Jackson hated himself and he wasn’t Black enough for you, right? Silly Negroes, how come you never apply the same logic to White folks when they tan themselves to death?
Lemme guess, Mr. Drummond hated himself as well; enough so to go out and adopt “Willis” & “Arnold” who’s last name just so happened to be Jackson as well? The thing is, this game has been run so much on us by non-minorities that they’ve gotten into our heads like my man Macon D over at Stuff White People Do asserted recently.
Do you hear White folks talking this mess in the wake of MJ’s death? No you don’t. You never hear it said in the media that Michael Jackson hated his Blackness so he lied about Vitilago and then proceeded to bleach his entire body including his penis. No, you never hear that, but yet you hear it from Negroes all damn day long; Negroes who have become experts of the very hate that the hater made themselves.
The funny thing about all this bullshit talk is that I’m willing to bet that all these “I’m Blacker than midnight” folks, perm their hair, wore a Jheri Curl at one point or still do, wash their hair with Garnier Fructise, buy $6 lattes, ate off food stamps, wear expensive weaves made of Asian hair, or never donate to the United Negro College Fund. That’s the funny part about all this in my opinion.
They always question the Blackness of famous people of color and use Blackness as a measure of loyalty. I could understand that to an extent, but when you measure MJ’s Blackness or loyalty to the Negro collective based on the metamorphosis of his skin color and not his body of work, I find that disingenuous. Save that type of talk for someone who’s on the Supreme Court who if he had it his way he’d remove Affirmative Action, the Voting Rights Act, and bring back slavery.
But hey, what do I know. I probably don’t agree with these assertions because I too hate myself. Oh well, I’ll just have to run out to the store and pick up some of that industrial strength “Hey I Wanna Be White” skin cream. I’ll be sure it has enough Hydroquinone to burn my penis off because I’m obviously not Black enough to understand where some folks are coming from.
Let them tell it, James Brown hated himself for wearing a perm as were all the Negro performers who didn’t wear an Afro and a Dashiki back in the day. Yup, self hate produced “Say it Loud (Black & Proud)” and that’s why James went back to the perm instead of sporting the Afro until he died. Was James Brown not Black enough or hated himself and that’s why he wore a perm? Is Al Sharpton’s perm a symbol of self hate?
Yes, Michael Jackson hated himself just as Cher – who has had maybe 15 million ribs removed – or any other entertainer Black or White who has had plastic surgery or wears padded underwear like Beyonce to fool people into thinking she has a fat ass. Ah yes, that hate thing sure is beautiful isn’t it? Hell I hate being Black so much I might just go shrink my penis.
The messed up part of all of this is that everybody is now an expert clinical psychologist on Negro behavior but yet they can’t fix their own pathologies. Life would be great if we were all Albinos I suppose. But then again, they’re subjected to much hate so they too possibly hate themselves as well. Sometimes my own people piss me off not because of the things they say. But because they fail to see their own internalized oppression and how they express it.
There are people on the continent of Africa who bleach their faces…

I always find it quite interesting everytime there is a conversation about self-hatred and self-hating actions in the black community that the 1st thing people bring up is a “white” person who does something similar that can be viewed as self-hatred. This habbit in the black community of always using what white people as our measuring stick to either give up the thumbs up or thumbs down on our actions is so annoying. If a white person tans his/herself until their black, thats their business and does not have an affect on how self-hatred is ripping the black community apart. If Michael Jackson bleaching his skin and then going as far as paying to have doctors say it is a disease bothers you then use it as a reference to teach off of, teach self-love, teach the history of Europeans trying to make everybody’s self esteem low for not being white; but do not use a form of white self hatred and compare it to black self hatred. White self hating actions are in no way, shape, or form comparable to the deconstruction of black self-esteem practiced by Europeans during slavery that produced this self-hatred we see today in AFrican-Americans. White’s are usually jealous of the features that blacks have so naturally i.e lips, every white actor in the world are trying to get big lips, after years of mocking black people for our lips now they are paying for them and you have ignorant people like Lil Kim and Vivica Fox who are still following white trends by paying to have their lips done not realizing that they are black, that big lip feature comes standard. White women would kill for the curves, white men would kill for the physique black men come with, white women would kill for the thickness and volume that comes with black hair, but from slavery up until about the late 1990′s Europeans focused on making Blacks feel bad about the traits in us that they envy…leading to Michael Jackson hating himself for always being viewed as a “black man” instead of an incredible talent like he was. The sad reality about Michael Jackson in my opinion is that he hating the fact that people saw him as black before they saw him as a human. MJ wanting to be viewed as a human being, which in the ideal world is how we should all be viewed, but in the real world, in America, in the home of the slaves, in the Native American slaying United States…color exist and it is the 1st thing people see when they see you. I do agree that black people are quick to become psychologist by analyzing everybody’s self-hating actions without correcting their own, but black people are also not the one’s to bite their toungue when they see wrong…if everybody had to wait until they were perfect to speak up about the truth then the truth would never come out because nobody is perfect, so I applaud the courage of our people for refusing to be silenced because of their own imperfections…European thinkin will teach you that they try to perfect their perception so that they can have the power to criticize, the power to appoint, the power to be trusted, not realizing that perception is…well…perception, its not reality…we have to start thinkin about the background of the idealogies we use to judge our people…are we judging them by AFrican-American stadards without a European lense over it or are we truly using AFrican-American standards?
Michael Jackson didn’t want to be white! He was proud to be black. He had a skin disorder that destroys the pigmentation of the skin and causes white blotches. He covered the blotches with makeup, but the skin condition got worse, resulting in his skin changing. It’s called vitiligo. Do your research and think on your own for once instead of believing everything the media tells you! Michael Jackson had vitiligo, it was something he could not help. Look up vitiligo on youtube and you’ll see a girl who has the same thing and turned all white. You must be ignorant if you believe the lies you hear. Your all so ignorant and blind to the truth…
vitiligo doesn’t turn your whole body white. he processed his hair. oh let me guess the reason his hair is so silky is because of vitiligo. i guess the fact that he is not the biological father of his children is because of vitiligo. No people, lets stop playing, he is a self hater who think that white is right thats why he paid for a white woman to mother his children and pay for white man sperm to father his children. those children are not mixed at all. the people defending his self hate probably wish they had the money to make they self white too. pathetic.
@tzaddik21, How about we add this. Allow us to look at his light skinned, light eyed father with the barely black features. Imagine that same man constantly saying that you are dark and ugly with a big nose? Imagine being in an airport and having a black female fan, walk up to you during your teenage acne years, and pretty much say that you look disgusting. If anything, I think he was trying to surpass the one beauty of his father, if anything.
Black people are a trip. They walk around creating standards of beauty within their own color, and when other people within the community, fail to fit, they ridicule, demonize, and insult them. Alas, when said person, attempts to change themselves, those same black people point the finger and say, “you hate yourself!”
Let’s face it, black people are a bunch of –holes! They love to use the term self-hate, and blame the white man, when they are the ones doing the damage to themselves.
You are quite right. All my life, it was black people, my own people who thrust the self hatred dagger into my heart, to crush my spirit. Even to this day, working as a Michael Jackson Tribute Artist to pay the bills, I get my spirit broken all the time by my most hard core critiques who happened to be black people, no kidding here, this I swear! On my own mother and father’s grave… My own race, are so mean and nasty to me, not all of them, mind you, but most of them. I wonder when black people will realize that we are the one race that are destroying each other with our lack of compassion and empathy, . @tzaddik21, Also, you need to check the photos of his nose before declaring them a “broad, black nose.” He had a well defined hooked bridge more like a native American than a native African. I also find it hard to believe that he change his chin, and lips when I look at his brothers Jackie, Randy and even Tito who have similar features.

Overall though who ever agrees with this whole article can think on this for a while. I bet you all cannot get along with each other in one room because European features are keen in your eyes, thus looking at each other is somewhat of a harsh sentence cast down from the “Hate Thyself Inferior Court”. Me, I love Spanish and white (yes Mexican too) girls because they are not trying to look black while saying they are proud to be who they are. Now there are some lookers in the black community but they are with white dudes, Rashida Jones, Maya Rudolph e.g.. This is not a factory or a warehouse where you could go and pick and choose whatever flavor of the week you want.
