I must say that it is a complete rarity to have a gentleman in your presences. However, I go to a school where most of the young men here have shown chivalry. My fiance has always been the one to open the door for me, pull out my chair, carry my heavy backpack, and pull the car up for me when it is raining. There have been many times he has total me to wait in the car until he can come around and open it. I find that amazing, but he isn't the only one. When I came to school I was so surprised at how many men there were fulfill this great deed. I have a close guy friend who offers up his seat when I walk into a room; he has even been known to pull me back by my backpack just so he can get in front of me and open the door. This place I must say is a rare find. Chivalry is not quite dead; just hidden under women's pride and men who were not raised to respect women. Thank you for this post. I feel you either are for the more traditional approach of woman being treated differently (as far as the old rules of chivalry apply) or we all get treated the same (within the realm of common sense, of course), but not in between.
