About FXP

Launched January 21, 2009, theFreshXpress.com is a collection of free thinkers and individuals that have come together to give voice to a nation of young African Americans. It is our mission to provide fresh thought, fresh perspectives, and fresh debate on issues relevant to the African American community.

We are a daily online magazine. We update each weekday morning with news and commentary, and we also update frequently throughout the day with breaking news. Our contributors come from across the country, from most major cities and states, and range in age from 21-40. They come from all walks of life, including politicians, attorneys, writers, business professionals, and college students.

Our mission is to provide young African Americans with a forum for fresh perspective and debate. We’re more than a website. We’re a voice. We’re a vision. We’re a movement. We are THE Pulse of young Black America.
